Movie: Press, Pause, Play

Visual and musical appeal aside, Press, Pause, Play has done a great job redefining the blurry line between the consumers and creators within our cultural economy. The film does a lot to highlight many interesting aspects of our digital cultural but it also reminds us that we need to stop and smell the flowers every now and then. Heaviest moments come as  marketing guru Seth Godin contemplates our culture slowly becoming a “grey goop” of humanity, where creation of consumable culture has gone from aiding real life human connections to completely supplanting them. Amazing visuals and discussions with Anthony Volodkin (Hype Machine) and Sean Parker will keep the film exciting for ADHD viewers like myself.
